Lodway Cricket Club was founded in 1867 and is a members club, but also available for private hire, subject to terms and conditions.

We are not just a club that plays cricket but a family orientated club that forms an integral part of our local community. We offer entertainments during the year and play host to community-wide events, such as fireworks displays and music festivals. The club is also used as a venue for community groups and the local schools as well as a friendly and welcoming place to spend time together.

Watching cricket at Lodway Cricket Club:

In addition to our four Men’s Senior Cricket Sides that play on Saturdays, and Women’s Senior Cricket Side, we have a very active junior section with teams playing competitive matches at U9, U11, U13 and U15 age groups. We also run ECB-backed programmes; All Start Cricket for 5-8 year olds and Dynamo Cricket for 8-11 year olds. Our junior teams play during the week in the Bristol Youth Cricket League, many of our youth players also represent the 3rd and 4th team. This all bodes well for the senior sides in the years to come.

Our ground is one of the best in the area, benefitting from a good wicket and good clubhouse facilities. It has been regularly selected to host the county 50+ matches and county junior representative matches.

The club is fully licensed and open 6 days a week during the summer from 19:00 on weekdays and from 12 noon on weekends.
