Pill Toad Patrol
We coordinate helping toads and other amphibians to get across the roads safely, and encourage as many villagers as possible to get involved too.
About us
We monitor amphibians in Pill, Ham Green and Easton in Gordano and rescue them from roads and drains during the migration period (January to end of March). We encourage community participation, including school groups, brownies, cubs, WI etc - everyone is welcome to join in. Information is provided via email and Pill Toad Patrol Facebook page. We are affiliated to both the Wildlife Group and to the national amphibian charity, Froglife.
When do we meet
Patrols are organised based on time of year and weather conditions
