The Church on the Green
We are a community based church in the heart of Pill, welcoming everyone, regardless of denominational background, whether committed Christian or ‘just looking’. Our worship is informal and relaxed.
About us
The Church on the Green is the new name for our joint congregation of Methodists, Baptists and others, who have been working and worshipping together in Pill since 2020. We are a warm and welcoming community of believers who have joined together to serve the people of Pill, Easton in Gordano and Portbury. We are part of Pill, Easton in Gordano and Portbury Churches Together and we work closely with our Anglican, Salvation Army and Catholic friends, who also serve the community.
When do we meet
Morning Service Sundays 10:30 - 12:00
OASIS All Wednesdays 10:00 - 14:00 Community coffee morning followed at noon by a free soup and a roll lunch with puddings.
Ten Tots Toddler Group Thursdays During term time 09:00 - 11:00
Men's Breakfast Saturdays Quarterly In conjunction with other churches.
Other special events Various Advertised on the Pill Methodist website, Pill Resource Centre or on Facebook.
What it costs:
There are no fees for being part of the church. The church is financed through the regular voluntary giving of those who attend.
The charges for attending Ten Tots are £1 for the first child and 50p for each subsequent child.
Warm Room donations are welcome but not compulsory
